To increase development efforts work force Michigan, Snyder described a plan that covers everything from a one-stop site for prospective employers and employees, the proposed changes to unemployment benefits, call for changes to immigration CAP and new goals for the welfare State to work effort.
"Times are tough in Michigan," he said in a letter to the legislature which was released in conjunction with speech at Delta College. "We have failed to think strategically about the relationship between economic development and talent. Job creators find challenging to grow and develop without proper talent, and job seekers struggle to get in touch with the right opportunities that take advantage of their skills.
